Akhir tahun 2020 tercatat 1.451 orang yang berprofesi pada bidang tersebut. Tingkat kepesertaan PUS terhadap program Keluarga Berencana (KB) adalah 866 pasangan, hanya 39% dari jumlah PUS. Sebaran jumlah PUS di Kalurahan Purwobinangun terbanyak adalah dari Padukuhan Ngepring disusul Padukuhan Turgo. pekerjaan dapat dilihat dari tingkat pendidikan penduduk, semakin tinggi pendidikan yang ditempuh maka semakin luas pula aksesbilitas terhadap pekerjaan. Data penduduk Kalurahan Purwobinangun berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan pada akhir tahun 2020 didominasi oleh lulusan SLTA sederajat. pernah terjadi di masyarakat. Konflik yang pernah terjadi di masyarakat antara lain:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Konflik pertanahan<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Permasalahan yang sering kali terjadi pada sektor ini adalah warisan dan sengketa kepemilikan atau batas. Permasalahan yang terjadi dapat diselesaikan melalui fasilitasi musyawarah antara pihak yang bersengketa.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Konflik rumah tangga<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Permasalahan rumah tangga yang sering kali terjadi adalah perselingkuhan, pernikahan dini, hamil di luar nikah, dan perceraian. Fasilitasi musyawarah dan mediasi dilakukan, namun masih ada konflik rumah tangga yang tidak mencapai penyelesaian dan terpaksa masuk ke Pengadilan Agama.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pencurian<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Permasalahan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (kamtibmas) yang sering kali terjadi adalah kasus pencurian.&nbsp; Solusi yang dapat dipergunakan adalah dengan peningkatan kewaspadaan masyarakat dan pemberlakuan kegiatan siskamling di masing-masing wilayah.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Konflik tambang<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Posisi Kalurahan Purwobinangun yang tepat di sisi barat daya Gunung Merapi dan dilewati Sungai Boyong membuatnya memiliki potensi tambang pasir. Sektor pertambangan merupakan sektor yang sangat sensitif, konflik dapat terjadi apabila pemanfaatannya menimbulkan kerugian terhadap kelompok-kelompok dalam masyarakat. Akhir tahun 2020, terjadi penolakan atas adanya pemberian izin\/konsesi penambangan kepada pihak swasta. Gejolak terjadi di masyarakat karena terkait kepentingan koservasi sumber daya air dan berseberangan dengan pertambangan rakyat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Kedaulatan Politik Masyarakat.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Peran Serta Masyarakat dalam Pembangunan.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pembangunan telah dimulai pada tahap perencanaan. Kegiatan pembangunan disusun dengan melibatkan masyarakat pada proses Musyawarah Kalurahan, sebuah forum musyawarah yang dilaksanakan oleh Badan Permusyawaratan Kalurahan guna membahas topik-topik yang diagendakan. Agenda rutin yang selalu dilaksanakan setiap tahunnya adalah tentang perencanaan pembangunan.<\/p>\n<p>Pada tataran pelaksanaan kegiatan, masyarakat berperan sebagai subyek dan obyek pembangunan. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang telah dirancang bersama-sama dalam forum perencanaan pembangunan dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat dengan diampu oleh pelaksana kegiatan yang membidangi. Pembangunan yang dilaksanakan orientasinya tentu saja adalah untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat itu sendiri.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Adat Istiadat<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Adat istiadat seperti gotong royong, rewang, sambatan, nyumbang, dan jagong bayi masih kental dilakukan oleh masyarakat. Kenduri saparan, mauludan, ruwahan, puasa juga masih dilakukan. Upacara adat seperti brokohan, sepasaran, selapanan, supitan, timangan, tetesan, nglamar, asok tukon, mantu, boyongan, tingkeban, dan ruwat juga masih ada yang melaksanakan. Selain itu masih ada juga upacara adat yang berhubungan dengan kematian misalnya: <em>telung dinan<\/em> (3hari), <em>pitung dinan<\/em> (7 hari), <em>patangpuluhan<\/em> (40 hari), <em>satus dino<\/em> (100 hari), <em>setahun<\/em>, <em>sewu dina<\/em> (1000 hari), dan <em>ngijing<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEADAAN EKONOMI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Gambaran Aktifitas Ekonomi<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Geliat aktifitas ekonomi di Kalurahan Purwobinangun ditunjang oleh beberapa sektor. Sektor penggerak utama adalah pertanian, termasuk di dalamnya perikanan dan peternakan. Jasa dan perdagangan juga termasuk pendorong kegiatan ekonomi, namun sektor ini belum dilakukan oleh banyak orang. Wilayah Purwobinangun secara umum mempunyai ciri fisik penggunaan lahan pertanian untuk menanam salak pondoh. Namun demikian, tanaman lain seperti padi, jagung, kacang tanah, ketela pohon, dan cabe juga merupakan komoditas pertanian di Purwobinangun. Perkembangan yang terjadi belakangan ini adalah mulai beralihnya pertanian salak pondoh ke pertanian lainnya akhibat harga jual yang rendah. Banyak lahan yang sebelumnya ditanami Salak Pondoh diganti dengan jenis tanaman lain ataupun kembali kepada sawah.<\/p>\n<p>Sektor pertanian berperan penting sebagai penggerak ekonomi masyarakat Purwobinangun. Aktifitas ini secara langsung berimplikasi terhadap pembentukan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) kabupaten Sleman, penyediaan lapangan kerja, sumber pendapatan masyarakat, dan penciptaan ketahanan pangan. Secara tidak langsung kegiatan tersebut juga menunjang terciptanya kondisi yang kondusif bagi pelaksanaan pembangunan dan hubungan sinergis dengan subsektor dan sektor lain.<\/p>\n<p>Sektor perikanan di Purwobinangun didominasi oleh Padukuhan Karanggeneng, Kadilobo, dan Sembung karena topografinya yang relatif landai. Pengembangan dan ujicoba minapadi juga telah dilaksanakan di wilayah Purwobinangun bagian tengah (Jamblangan, Watuadeg, dan Cepet) dengan potensi hasil yang relatif menjanjikan. Sektor peternakan juga menjadi komoditas di Purwobinangun, antara lain: yakni sapi perah, sapi potong, kerbau, kambing, domba, bebek, itik, puyuh, ayam kampung, ayam potong, dan burung. Aktifitas peternakan individu dan kelompok berkembang merata di hampir seluruh wilayah Kalurahan Purwobinangun.<\/p>\n<p>Purwobinangun juga memiliki potensi pada sektor kehutanan. Sektor ini didominasi jenis tanaman keras seperti kayu Sengon, mahoni, dll. Potensi sektor kehutanan ini seluas 85 ha. Pada sektor pertambangan, terdapat pertambangan rakyat dengan komoditasnya berupa pasir dan batu kali. Lokasi pertambangan rakyat berada di Purwobinangun bagian utara, yaitu : Kemiri, Ngepring, dan Turgo. Pertambangan dilakukan di bantaran Sungai Boyong yang luasnya diperkirakan 20 ha.<\/p>\n<p>Pada sektor jasa dan perdagangan, telah terdapat 3 (tiga) titik yang merupakan episentrum dari kegiatan perdagangan di Purwobinangun, yaitu: perempatan Ngepring, pertigaan Candi, dan pertigaan Pulowatu. Perlu adanya penciptaan titik tumbuh baru agar aktifitas jasa dan perdagangan dapat merata di semua wilayah Kalurahan Purwobinangun. Titik tumbuh ini dapat dikolaborasikan lebih lanjut dengan pengembangan sektor wisata.<\/p>\n<p>Sektor wisata menjadi salah satu sektor yang memiliki potensi cukup besar untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Masing-masing wilayah di Kalurahan Purwobinangun memiliki keunggulan potensi wisata yang apabila dikembangkan dan dikelola lebih lanjut dapat memberikan hasil lebih baik. Namun demikian, penciptaan infrastruktur wisata tidak hanya sebatas pada fasilitas fisik, namun juga pada kapasitas pengola dan budaya masyarakatnya. Pengembangan sebuah tempat menjadi kawasan tujuan wisata membutuhkan investasi yang relatif besar dan tidak dapat dilakukan secara instan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Gambaran Keluarga Pra Sejahtera<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Berdasarkan data tahun 2021, di Kalurahan Purwobinangun terdapat 221 keluarga yang termasuk sebagai Keluarga Miskin (KKM) dan 686 Keluarga Rentan Miskin (KRM).
